Having a solo lunch here and it's absolutely delicious. The falafel is slightly creamy inside which I'm not used to but absolutely appreciate, and the mushroom hummus- chef's kiss! Service has been attentive, helpful, and friendly. And all the food tastes majorly fresh. Vibe is very cool and chic and dark, perfect for a date night I'm thinking. I'm absolutely coming back for a dinner with more than just myself!

Came here to celebrate a birthday and it was such a beautiful, cozy spot with a somewhat open kitchen. Service was good, server made some great recommendations and explained some menu items. We enjoyed the spreads and dips the most, the Labneh, Mushroom Hummus, and Short Rib Hummus were all good. The pita was soft and fluffy. The spreads were plenty for the table to share. Labneh - very well balanced, just the right amount of tangy, rich but not too thick, topped with truffle honey, crushed hazelnuts and rosemary. sweet and savory, good on it's own or with pita Short Rib Hummus - some of the shredded pieces were dry but the meat had a lot of good flavor, with some pickled onion over plain hummus. The Caesar salad was not well balanced. The lettuce was overly dressed and had too much mustard. The dish ended up being inedible for the table. Skip the salad Grilled Octopus Kebab - the flavor was okay, quality was good and octopus was tender. However, the dish was not hot enough, the red pepper and octopus was cold and the potato puree was lukewarm. I was craving octopus and potato and this did not satisfy my craving Roast Pork Shawarma - this entree was tender and flavorful, large piece of pork shank braised and served with cabbage, radish, and pickled onion, and served with mini pita, garlic tahini and zhoug sauce Overall, the food was good and I would probably come back to try their other menu items. Drinks were good too, my favorite was their Mezcal cocktail. I think it was called Thistle & Smoke or something similar

It's really pretty inside and the staff is friendly. We had a great time here from start to finish. Everything we ordered was delicious! The drinks were great also. Drinks: The gift - Fig Vodka, Amaro Nonino, Pomegranate, Sparkling Water, Lime Cloud 9 ALB Vodka, Espresso, Coffee Liqueur, Sesame, Tahini Whip 16  Berry Spritz House-made Berry Shrub, Lemon, Rosemary, Sparkling Water Mint Rose Limoncello- I loved how it was presented. They gave you a tray with ice, limoncello, mint and water. You had to mix it according to your liking. That was pretty cool! Appetizers Miso Baba Ganoush Shichimi Togarashi, Furikake, Sesame Oil Short Rib Shawarma Hummus Pickled Onion & Fresno Chili, Parsley This one was my favorite! Their pita bread is delicious! They serve it fresh and hot. Entrees- We ordered a little bit of everything to sample. Falafel Gougéres Garlic Confit Tahini, Fried Chickpeas, Parsley American Wagyu Kebab Fennel Dukkah, Sweet Tahini, Parsley I loved this! Octopus Kebab Red Pepper, Black Olive, Potato Puree My other favorite choice! Monkfish Kebab Harissa, Tahini, Borage Cress It was good but I am not a fan of spicy. So for me, it was too spicy. If you like spice, then definitely get it! Each order of kebabs came with only 1 skewer. We each shared pieces. Surprisingly, we were actually full. Dessert Mom's Knafeh Ashta, Kataifi, Pistachio Ice Cream Wow, this dessert was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our experience here. It's also in a great location because there some nice spots to go to for after dinner drinks.

Such a good middle eastern spot! Great spot to catch up with a friend or go on a date. I got the hummus, sweet potato, fig toast, duck breast and octopus skewer. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the short rib hummus. I the short rib was pulled perfectly and paired well with the creamy hummus. The octopus was also very tender

best french toast in brooklyn. so glad i came here for brunch - the music, vibes, and menu selection were impeccable. was also a lovely surprise to learn the soujak that you can add to the shakshouka is halal! (none of the other meat is tho) will def come back to try other items on the menu, but the french toast is for sure a must and the shakshouka was solid.

I came here for brunch with a group of 6, and it was delightful in every way. The great: - super fun menu mixing middle eastern fare with brunch items - The ambiance had a historical feel yet it felt appropriate - near the subway, always a plus - helpful staff Why this place isn't getting 5 stars - The menus is fun, yet confusing. It's like we needed to research to understand how to order. This place is great for: - Group gatherings - 2nd dates - Cousin visiting - a desire for a more exotic brunch Terrible for: - Breakups - smaller venue and noise travels - Easy ordering - People who like the basics

This place is definitely added to my list of good brunch spots in Brooklyn. They have unique food combinations that work out well. Their fig and olive toast was delicious and so was their butternut squash kibbeh (better than the one at ilili and that's my favorite in the city!) Their cauliflower shawarma was underwhelming so I'd skip that. As for their challah French toast, it was definitely the star of the show and a must order for folks with a sweet tooth! So happy seeing more Middle Eastern inspired spots in the neighborhood!!

Easily one of my favorite spots for Middle Eastern eats in the city -- every single thing we had here was so delicious. The ambiance was really lovely and the servers are great at recommending dishes. This restaurant is perfect to share dishes family-style. The Labneh here is so special, truly one of my favorite I've eaten. I cannot recommend it enough, am definitely coming back soon.

Had a spectacular evening here on a Thursday night. I was in absolute awe upon entering this establishment. The decor inside was gorgeous! We started with the short rib shawarma hummus, brussel sprouts, grilled octopus kebab, and American wagyu kebab. The short rib shawarma hummus was superb! They gave a generous amount of tender, flavorful short rib alongside a creamy hummus. I always have hummus stocked in my fridge, but I forget how much better fresh hummus was. However, the star of the show for me was the pita! It was warm, soft, and chewy. I have to thank my fellow yelpers for recommending this dish as a must-try. The rest of the appetizers were good, but nothing too memorable. The American wagyu was not as tender as I thought it would be. I would skip this one. As for the entree, we decided to share the moulard duck breast. There were so many different flavors from this dish that somehow just paired so well together. The tartness of the cherries, nuttiness from the walnuts, meaty flavor of the duck, and the smokiness from the gai lan were truly remarkable. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. I love finding hidden gems in Brooklyn and this is definitely one of them.
